Ticketek TixALERT is the name of a new Premium SMS service provided by Ticketek. It will provide SMS alerts to MyTicketek members who have opt-in to receive relevant upcoming on-sale information. It may also include exclusive offers such as pre-sales, money-can’t-buy offers, competitions and discounted offers not readily available to the general public.

2. How do I join Ticketek TixALERT?
MyTicketek members can opt-in to Ticketek TixALERT through the My Preferences section of their MyTicketek account (on the Ticketek website). Note: You must be a MyTicketek member to subscribe to Ticketek TixALERT.

3. How do you opt-out of Ticketek TixALERT?
Either reply “stop” to 1994 6673 by SMS or access MyTicketek preferences page and ‘un-check’ the Ticketek TixALERT check box.

4. How does Ticketek TixALERT work?
a) MyTicketek member to opt-in to Ticketek TixALERT

b) Ticketek TixALERT will ask you to verify your subscription. This FREE SMS message will read as:
FreeMsg: Please reply YES now to join Ticketek TixALERT subscription. Send STOP to end.
Helpline (02) 80220777. Cost is 55c per alert. Max 3 per week.


c) Once you reply ‘yes’ to 1994 6673 you will instantly receive a unique 6 character code at a cost of 55c which is required to access Ticketek TixALERT pre-sales.

5. What are the costs to join Ticketek TixALERT?
Once you verify your subscription to Ticketek TixALERT you will receive up to 3 SMS messages per week a cost of 55c per message.

6. Why Should I join Ticketek TixALERT?
You will receive exclusive VIP access to event pre-sales and special offers via the Internet including:
a) Early notification on event and concert news
b) Exciting rewards such as 2 for 1 deals
c) Half price tickets, money-can’t-buy packages and entry into exciting and exclusive competitions

7. How do I locate Ticketek TixALERT exclusive offers?
Ticketek TixALERT offers are located at www.ticketek.com.au/tixalert.

8. How will I be notified of all Ticketek TixALERT information?
Ticketek TixALERT will send you up to 3 SMS messages per week. SMS will be based on your My Ticketek Preferences.

9. Do I need to be a My Ticketek member to join Ticketek TixALERT?
Yes. If you are not a member, go to www.ticketek.com.au to join.

10. How do I purchase tickets through Ticketek TixALERT?
Tickets can be purchased through www.ticketek.com.au/tixalert. You can access pre-sales by using your unique code. Your unique code is provided to you upon joining the Ticketek TixALERT service.

11. Is the Ticketek TixALERT service available outside Australia?
No. Ticketek TixALERT is available in Australia only.

12. What happens if I get a failed SMS message?
If you are experiencing problems replying YES to confirm your subscription to Ticketek TixALERT, create a new SMS message and send the word YES to 1994 6673. This may be the case with some older Sony Ericsson handsets.

13. Lost your unique code?
If you are an existing TixALERT member you can SMS the word PASSCODE to 0427268421 and you will receive your unique code again via SMS at a cost of 55c per msg received. Standard SMS costs apply.

14. Can I use my unique code more than once for Ticketek TixALERT pre-sales?
No. Your unique code can only used once to access each Ticketek TixALERT pre-sale. Ticketek TixALERT allocate unique codes to each subscriber.
