US singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi will make his debut in Australia and New Zealand with a series of headline shows this July.

A homegrown success story with a career built largely through grassroots social media support, the ‘Scared To Start’ hitmaker earned his legion of fans with a folk-rock and age-old American sound listeners yearned for. The song catapulted Marcagi into the spotlight at the start of 2024 and cemented Michael’s status as a folk prodigy.

Releasing his highly-anticipated debut EP American Romance earlier this year, the project exudes timeless sounds and songwriting that proved Marcagi’s talent for authentic storytelling. Ones To Watch named the EP, produced by David Baron (Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers, Shania Twain), “the calling card of one of 2024's most exciting new artists”.

Now, with global streams of more than 100 million and close to 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Marcagi will hit the road for the first time this year as a signed artist, poised to continue his incredible trajectory. Touring internationally later this month, he will play headline shows across the UK and Europe, with a number of shows already sold out. Returning home to the US for a string of sold out headline shows in May before heading to Australia and New Zealand for the first time, don’t miss Michael Marcagi playing intimate venues on his debut down under this July.
