The HANCOCK PROSPECTING Next Gen Group Show is always one of the most anticipated events on the Fashion Festival calendar, drawing crowds of young fashionistas and industry insiders alike to witness the fresh, creative, and diverse aesthetics of Queensland’s most talented up-and-coming designers. The show includes emerging labels as well as students from the State’s top fashion colleges.
The HANCOCK PROSPECTING Next Gen Group Show has consistently provided some of the most impressive visuals, uncompromising aesthetics, and fashion collections with a message: spotlighting issues such as sustainability, gender fluidity and neutrality, diversity, and fashion inclusivity for all.
The show will open with a showcase featuring the iconic Driza-Bone fashion design competition finalists from TAFE Queensland Brisbane, QUT Fashion and Whitehouse Institute of Design. Immediately following show goers will be treated to the diverse and creative visions of Millyzu, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, Mary Morag, House of Aya, Days of Grace, Clarity by Jane, Berniece Andrews, Swimbarre, Suzy Syme Art Couture, Natalie Hamblin Design, TAFE Queensland Brisbane, KG Bold, Hope Vale X QUT and Luxe Labels.
