Presented by: Fire & Rescue NSW Band

Beat the Burn - Charity Concert ignites compassion.

“Unveiling the curtain” on this thrilling night of music, the band will be joined on stage by Australian singer and actor Michael Cormick, much loved for musical theatre performances in Australia and the United Kingdom; along with one of the most exciting young performers to grace both the operatic and theatre stage, Bridget Patterson.

Step into a world where every note tells a story, and every beat ignites your soul! Join us for a night of music that spans across diverse genres, from the enchanting melodies of music theatre to the iconic sounds of film scores, and the infectious rhythms of popular hits.

Proceeds from this event go directly to “Beat the Burn” project, which started humbly in 2006 when firefighters from Hurstville Fire Station embarked on a 400km bike ride to support kids at The Burns Unit of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Today, “Beat the Burn” has evolved into a year-round campaign raising funds, sharing prevention messages, and spreading awareness for children affected by life-changing burns. The goal is to raise much needed funds to enhance treatment outcomes through research, advanced equipment, and crucial support services for young burn survivors and their families.
