Forum Melbourne is an over 18's venue. Patrons must be able to present one of the following ID's to gain entry: learner or driver's license, passport, proof of age card, keypass. If patrons are unable to present a valid form of ID, we can not permit you entry to the venue, and on these grounds, we can not provide a refund for your tickets.

Booth Seating and Venue Mode
This event is sold as general admission standing. Limited booth seats may be available for purchase.

Booths seat 6 individual ticket holders or an entire booth can be purchased for 8 guests. Show your GA ticket along with your Booth Voucher at the Box Office on the night of the show to collect your Booth Wristband and enjoy the following:

  • Dedicated entry for wristband collection
  • Wristband to gain access to your reserved seated area
  • Complimentary drink voucher per person
  • Access to a VIP point of purchase at the bar

A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADDITION TO THE BOOTH TICKET OR ADMISSION WILL BE DENIED WITH NO REFUND

Handsome Tours present Matt Berninger – the unmistakable frontman and lyricist of The National – who makes his Australian and New Zealand solo debut this May and June.

The tour marks Berninger’s highly anticipated return to the region – this time as soloist, offering audiences an intimate yet expansive live show celebrating his latest album Get Sunk (Concord, 2025) – a sweeping and soul-stirring record that finds him resurfacing with clarity, vulnerability and wry humour intact.

Best known for the contemplative narratives and gorgeous emotional candour that have defined The National’s catalogue, Berninger has long explored the fragile edges of identity and self-understanding. Released as a solo album, Get Sunk emerges as both reckoning and renewal — an inhale after submersion.

Expect a setlist spanning Get Sunk alongside selections from his 2020 solo debut Serpentine Prison and carefully chosen moments from The National’s beloved catalogue.
