Award-winning British singer songwriter Tom Odell has today announced his return to Australia on the Wonderful Life Tour, set down for January 2026. Odell is a firm favourite of Australian audiences. After quickly selling out two shows at Sydney Opera House last year, this will mark Odell’s first full Australian tour since 2014. This tour will showcase his vast catalogue, on top of cuts from his highly anticipated seventh studio album A Wonderful Life, released last week.

Tom Odell is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music, known for his emotionally charged songwriting and willingness to embrace vulnerability. Since breaking through with “Another Love” — now a global anthem with over three billion Spotify streams — Odell has consistently pushed beyond pop conventions, offering music that speaks to the fragility of the human condition and the complexities of modern life. His blend of stark honesty and poetic lyricism has resonated with millions worldwide, with recent singles like “Black Friday” (nearly 700 million streams) cementing his place as an artist unafraid to confront both pain and beauty head-on.

With the release of his seventh studio album, A Wonderful Life, Odell continues this journey of unflinching honesty. Written across tour buses, trains, and studios, the record captures a world in flux — where doomscrolling, anxiety, and fractured modernity collide with moments of deep reflection and fragile hope.

Songs such as “Don’t Let Me Go” and “Wonderful Life” carry an intimacy that feels both universal and personal, with Odell’s voice reaching through the noise to offer connection and comfort. The live, human quality of the recordings — captured with his band playing together in the studio — adds to the sense that these are not just songs, but conversations.

Now, as he prepares to bring A Wonderful Life to audiences around the world, Odell is stepping into a new chapter defined not by polished pop stardom, but by fearless truth-telling. His music remains a refuge for listeners navigating their own struggles, and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, moments of beauty and connection can still be found.
