About

Presented by: Trafalgar Theatre Productions

The theatrical comedy event of 2027 is coming to Melbourne.

Packed with razor-sharp one-liners, outrageous behaviour and enough romantic chaos to keep everyone on their toes, Private Lives is one of the funniest plays ever written.

Directed by acclaimed British director Chris Luscombe (Royal Shakespeare Company, London's Old Vic and the West End), and starring internationally acclaimed British actor Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey, Paddington) with four-time Gold Logie Award-winning Australian star of stage and screen Lisa McCune (The King and I, South Pacific, Girl from the North Country), this laugh-out-loud new production brings Coward's timeless comedy to life for a new generation.

Smart, stylish and irresistibly funny, Private Lives arrives at the Princess Theatre for a strictly limited 4-week season from March 2027.
