Join South Australian artist Kate Hendry for a creative summer holiday session in the studio!
Inspired by Jasmine Crisp’s elaborate paintings featured in the exhibition at Adelaide Festival Plaza, participants will create expressive still life drawings based on an exciting studio set-up.
Designed for children aged 5+ and their parent or caregiver, this workshop invites participants to collaborate, observe and create artwork to take home. Begin by sketching with chalk, add expressive marks with oil pastels, then bring your piece to life with watercolours.
Throughout the session, participants will explore drawing from observation, experiment with different ways of applying colour and tone, and discover their own artistic voice.
