Theatre at its most dangerous and inspiring.

One of the most talked about artists in the world right now, Brazilian theatre-maker Carolina Bianchi’s work is brutally eloquent and searingly intelligent.
Exposing the intersection of art, sex and power, The Brotherhood is Bianchi’s second work in the CADELA FORÇA (‘Bitch Strength’) TRILOGY. A reckoning with the all-pervasive influence of the ‘male genius’ in theatre, and his untouchable guardians: the brotherhood.
After an interview with a heavyweight theatre director goes awry, seven men hijack Bianchi’s show and her research. As the power of their brotherhood engulfs her stage, Bianchi lifts the curtain on its codes, origins and allure. From satire, sex and seances to 80s pop–blaring dance breakouts, revel in an adrenaline-soaked production that will leave you shot through with triumph as Bianchi’s piercing performance obliterates everything you thought you knew about power.
