No manuscripts, no music stands, just the Vision String Quartet, playing Mozart, Shostakovich and some kaleidoscopic inventions of their own.
You can trust the Vision String Quartet to see things differently. From the Elbphilharmonie to Wigmore Hall, the Quartet has won over audiences worldwide with its innovative concerts. A Vision String Quartet performance brings together insightful renditions of the most-loved classic string quartets with their own enchanting compositions, drawing on inspiration from folk to funk. They perform entirely from memory.
In 2027 they invite you into the inner world of the string quartet, from Mozart’s sunny and subversive String Quartet in D major, to the soul-searching of Shostakovich in his eighth Quartet, through to taking the leap into joyous music from their album Spectrum. It’s a world where four superb musicians, set free from the page with the music deep inside them, redefine what a string quartet can be.
