Treasures of the Viking Age will be unveiled at the South Australian Museum in February 2025. Following highly acclaimed presentations in Scotland, the Adelaide exhibition will be the first opportunity to view this unique archaeological discovery outside Britain.

Including finely crafted jewellery, personal mementos, and exotic curiosities, this is a time-capsule full of wonder and intrigue. Along with the remarkable objects themselves, the exhibition features ground-breaking research into these treasures and what they reveal about Viking Age Britain.

Important event information

Each session duration is 2 hours, tickets are valid for the entire duration; on average most people spend 40 – 60 minutes within the exhibition itself. For this reason, you do not have to arrive at the start of your booked session and will be permitted entry at any time during your session.
Ticketholders who arrive after or close to the end of their session time will still be admitted, as capacity allows, to the next available session on the same day but may have an additional wait time.

Valid ID is required at entry of the exhibition for member, concession, senior, companion & student tickets.
