British metalcore legends Architects are returning to Australia with special guests House Of Protection and PRESIDENT!

Creating their new album The Sky, The Earth & All Between felt like a rebirth for British metalcore legends Architects. “It wasn’t about just putting out another Architects record. It had to be the record—the one people talk about when they talk about our band,” says frontman Sam Carter. His bandmate Dan Searle adds, “We had to make the quintessential Architects album—bringing together all our best qualities and everything we excel at.” Following two albums that explored new creative directions, the band decided to channel those lessons into making a definitive statement—an elemental summation of everything they’ve been and could become.

Much of the album’s power came from working with producer Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me The Horizon. His presence brought fresh energy, allowing Dan Searle to focus entirely on creativity rather than production. The recording process—done in an intimate Brighton studio—was intense but unexpectedly fun, full of both heavy music and moments of levity. This playful edge comes through in tracks like “Seeing Red,” which balances genre satire with genuine self-reflection. Across the record, Architects masterfully blend aggression, melody, and experimentation, while embracing lyrical vulnerability. The closing ballad “Chandelier” sums up the album’s emotional arc—transforming bleakness into a fragile celebration of life.
