Cancer is a frighteningly common experience: two in five Australians will be diagnosed by the age of 85. Yet many of us, whether we've received a diagnosis ourselves or are close to someone who has, must then navigate a minefield of emotional and practical challenges.

All three authors of Being Patient – which shares the stories of patients, caregivers and clinicians – have known what it’s like to get that dreaded diagnosis and to negotiate what comes next. Join two of them as they illuminate the complexities of cancer and its care.
