Rising out of the trees on the banks of the Parramatta River, CommBank Stadium was officially opened in April 2019. The 30,000 seat Stadium was built for the fans by the NSW Government and features the steepest grandstands in Australia, bringing fans closer to the action and creating an unparalleled live event experience.
The Stadium is owned by Venues NSW on behalf of the NSW Government and operated by VenuesLive. It hosts a range of events across rugby league, football, rugby union, concerts and other entertainment events plus community, cultural and business events.
CommBank Stadium has already played host to some iconic sport and entertainment moments, including: The Eels’ iconic home-opener victory, Wanderers v Leeds, the Sydney 7s, Matildas’ Olympic Qualifier, Elton John and Cold Chisel.
