For the first time ever, triple j's Science with Dr Karl is going live!
Everyone's favourite science communicator, Dr Karl Kruszeinicki, and triple j Mornings host Lucy Smith are stepping out of the triple j studio and onto the stage, with a special edition live show on Monday, 11 August at The Enmore Theatre, on Gadigal Land, Sydney.
Science with Dr Karl LIVE! Hosted by Lucy Smith is gearing up to tackle some of our biggest and weirdest questions. Across one big night, Dr Karl and Lucy will dive into fascinating science facts, welcome questions from special guests and uncover the science behind music, all while helping to make sense of the world around us. It’s everything you love about the weekly segment, just bigger, bolder and happening IRL.
Dr Karl’s Science Hour on triple j is the station’s longest-running segment, loved as much today as it ever has been. As triple j celebrates 50 years, it’s only fitting to spotlight Dr Karl, a beloved mainstay of the station for 48 of them! Widely lauded for his ability to make science accessible and entertaining, he’s been fuelling triple j listeners’ curiosity and tackling their hairiest questions for nearly the entire life of the station.
