Born into poverty and raised in a broken home, Patsy endured a long, hard road before finding supporters like Ott Devine, who brought her to the Grand Ole Opry, and Owen Bradley, who helped her record the songs that not only secured her fame but redefined country music.

In 1973, "The Cline," as she affectionately called herself at the height of her career, became the first female artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
